One would be very wise to do exactly what Acts 2:38 (^^^ above ^^^) says to do.
After all, it wasn’t stated as an option, as per:

When Jesus said “Today you shall be in paradise” to the thief on the cross, They were still under the “Old Covenant”, as the ‘Testator’ (God in the flesh, Jesus) had not died yet.
Thus, He could say that.
Once “The Testator” had died, His WILL could be done under “The New Covenant”, freeing all of us from the Curse of THE LAW.

I’m taken back at such grace and support. As a young father and being raised in a Christian home my confusion and frustration has luckily been thwarted off by staying in tune quietly with this site. It has been a place of refuge when I’m overwhelmed by all craziness of this world. To deprogram from 25+ years of what I knew as truth and faith has been my biggest challenge. Through it all my spirit is hopeful and encouraged! Thank you again for guidance in scripture!

Stand fast on the testimony of Jesus Christ, ( as Robert would say) it is the only Anchor that will hold within the veil. I too was raised Christian, Saved at age 8, and Baptized in Jesus name and given discernment by His Spirit, but I have had a wrong belief righted here, that was just the beginning. Then a whole lot of “I knew it’s ” to myself ( provided by the Holy Spirit) as I read Robert’s extensive work. This teaching is not hidden knowledge , or false gnostic lies. It is has been systematically covered, by various anti-christ factions, but His Word is sharper than any two edged Sword and the Mighty God has servants commissioned to carry out the field reporting, very few, like Robert. Make no mistake, Robert is working in Jesus will, desiring that none should perish and all come to repentance. His work is not rooted in any type of hate, he uses the same phrases Jesus used, when speaking of those, of their father the devil. And he boldly provides the hard, raw Truth from Scripture that many are still conspiring against Jesus and His sheep today. Enjoy all the “I knew it!” moments and thank The One , our Faithful and True God, Lord Jesus for His provision of Truth and Grace. There are many old scholars that gave the same teaching brought forth here, before about 1850, but the scrubbing/indoctrination unto lies, has been going strong for some time. But in God’s timing, only for a moment.
One of my favorites is the Word of the Lord study, on how many times Jesus is in the Old Testament dealing with people, perhaps Robert will give the link. I have many others too.
Ask to not be like Peter on the water, or on the night the Sanhedrin/Romans, took Jesus. I admire Peter, but he looked around at the raging storm, the craziness of the world, and he started sinking, he also denied Jesus. Stand fast in the storm, focused on the Master of the wind and waves, be like Stephen if they come for you, look up to the Redeemer, stand fast in His Name do not deny Him. I can only think the reason Peter became so bold was because Jesus forgave Him,and because of the Spirit of the Lord. But he was not facing death when he made his denial, we will be! God needed Him to preach repentance and baptism in Jesus Name yet at Pentecost. So we could hear it now! Amazing Jesus good provision for these days ahead. And then, when Peter was faced with death he stood fast in Jesus Name, oh, I pray I have the strength Peter was given. The Truth given here has emboldened me for sure.
