Friend, actually it is them who do not stand firm and testify of Jesus the Christ, who are the haters of mankind, and refuse to preach the Gospel to them who reject the Lord.
Those who love mankind, muslim and jews included, stand fast no matter the cost, and lay down their lives in necessary to preach the Truth of Christ Jesus and that soon to come great and terrible day of his wrath.
I do not know if spurgeon spoke of me, I do know the scripture testified of me.
I read a very different scripture than you, I suppose, for the scripture that I read is clear that every eye shall see the Lord and every knee shall bend.

You realize that gives a possible prophecy of Josephus’s account of the destruction of jerusalem right ? His account says there were glorious chariots and such in the heavens .
Jesus Christ uses heathen armies for His wrath at times . He used the romans for just that in 70 AD . Jesus Christ promised that generation also He would judge those that called themselves jews .
Jesus Christ promised to destroy those that killed Him who did NOT repent .

Charles, You do know Josephus was a practicing Jew and never converted to Faith in Christ Jesus the Lord, right? Hopefully you are not given over to even more jewish fables.
I recommend for you to look up the definition of “Generation” such as a generation of vipers.
The Lord will come in great glory and will send his angels to harvest the earth……see 1 corrintians 15 the dead in Christ and them who are alive are caught up unto the Lord in the air……..all the rest will see the destruction ……no where in scripture does it state anywhere, where God of spirit will rule over men in flesh on this orb.
Revelation of Jesus is clear that after the 1000 years the earth and the heaven are destroyed by fire, clear as a bell there.
