Of the names of God in the Old Testament, that which occurs most frequently (6,823 times) is the so-called Tetragrammaton, Yhwh (), the distinctive personal name of the God of Israel. This form has arisen through attempting to pronounce the consonants of the name with the vowels of Adonai ( = “Lord”), which the Masorites have inserted in the text, indicating thereby that Adonai was to be read (as a “ḳeri perpetuum”) instead of Yhwh. This name, according to the narrative in Ex. iii. (E), was made known to Moses in a vision at Horeb. In another, parallel narrative (Ex. vi. 2, 3, P) it is stated that the name was not known to the Patriarchs. It is used by one of the documentary sources of Genesis (J), but scarcely if at all by the others. Its use is avoided by some later writers also. It does not occur in Ecclesiastes, and in Daniel is found only in ch. ix. The writer of Chronicles shows a preference for the form Elohim, and in Ps. xlii.-lxxxiii. Elohim occurs much more frequently than Yhwh, probably having been substituted in some places for the latter name, as in Ps. liii. (comp. Ps. xiv.).
In appearance, Yhwh () is the third person singular imperfect “ḳal” of the verb (“to be”), meaning, therefore, “He is,” or “He will be,” or, perhaps, “He lives,” the root idea of the word being,probably, “to blow,” “to breathe,” and hence, “to live.” With this explanation agrees the meaning of the name given in Ex. iii. 14, where God is represented as speaking, and hence as using the first person—”I am” (, from , the later equivalent of the archaic stem ). The meaning would, therefore, be “He who is self-existing, self-sufficient,” or, more concretely, “He who lives,” the abstract conception of pure existence being foreign to Hebrew thought. There is no doubt that the idea of life was intimately connected with the name Yhwh from early times. He is the living God, as contrasted with the lifeless gods of the heathen, and He is the source and author of life (comp. I Kings xviii.; Isa. xli. 26-29, xliv. 6-20; Jer. x. 10, 14; Gen. ii. 7; etc.). So familiar is this conception of God to the Hebrew mind that it appears in the common formula of an oath, “ḥai Yhwh” (= “as Yhwh lives”; Ruth iii. 13; I Sam. xiv. 45; etc.).
If the explanation of the form above given be the true one, the original pronunciation must have been Yahweh () or Yahaweh (). From this the contracted form Jah or Yah () is most readily explained, and also the forms Jeho or Yeho ( = ), and Jo or Yo (, contracted from ), which the word assumes in combination in the first part of compound proper names, and Yahu or Yah () in the second part of such names. The fact may also be mentioned that in Samaritan poetry rimes with words similar in ending to Yahweh, and Theodoret (“Quæst. 15 in Exodum”) states that the Samaritans pronounced the name ‘Iαβέ. Epiphanius ascribes the same pronunciation to an early Christian sect. Clement of Alexandria, still more exactly, pronounces ‘Iαουέ or ‘Iαουαί, and Origen, ‘Iα. A Canaanite, and, again, a Babylonian, origin have been proposed, but upon grounds which are still uncertain. First, each soul must come to a place of repentance…
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Part of that repentance is the acknowledging of God as the ‘Only God’…the “Living God”, that was the Word and became flesh and dwelt among us…(John 1:1, 10, 14 1 Timothy 3:16, 1 John 3:16)
God is not a ‘triune’ god, but ‘One’ all existing from everlasting to everlasting. Pray for your spiritual eyes to be opened in truth to who He is, with eyes that see and a heart that understands.
You must make the choice willingly to serve the Lord God Almighty, to love him, with your whole heart, soul, mind, and might. (Deuteronomy 6:5, Matthew 22:37, Mark 12:30, Luke 10:27)
You must seek His Kingdom and His Righteousness (Matthew 6:33)
You need His precious ”name” upon your clay vessel…you must be born of the water and of the Spirit, Jesus said in John 3:3-7, that without being born again, one cannot see the kingdom of God nor can he enter into it…no exceptions!
The only scripture that fulfills both of this requirement is found in Acts 2:38
“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (For this promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. vs 39)

You must hide the Word in your heart, your soul, your mind. You must be filled with it fully! You must decrease and allow the Lord to increase within you. You must study to shew yourself approved…2 Timothy 2:15, 19.
You must test the spirits using the written word, and spiritual discernment (a gift from God) 1 John 4:1, We have the written Word to challenge all that we hear, and see.
The Word is our Sword in spiritual battles, and you cannot use a weapon that you don’t understand, that you have not tried and proved…Ephesians 6:11-17, Hebrews 4:12-13)
In our own flesh and carnality we stand defeated, but when we have the Lord’s Holy Spirit dwelling within us, when He has increased within us, His Name upon us, we can be the overcomer’s that He said we would be in all that the enemy tries to destroy us with. For the Lord has already defeated him on every level.
The enemy has used deception for centuries, in getting humanity to believe that he is more than what he actually is. He has deceived the ‘unlearned’ into believing that he will be the victor. The enemy has enticed generation after generation to compromise in all forms of acts of abomination against the Lord in what has been forbidden for our good. Remember the ‘garden’?
The written Word establishes you in His Truth in all matters of this life. It is the spiritual line in the sand. It is the plumbline by which we all will be judged when the books will be opened.
The written Word establishes you in knowledge, wisdom and understanding.
The written Word has declared how this all will end…but if souls won’t read the Word, they cannot hide the Word in their hearts, they then cannot live according to the Word and will be deceived on any given area.
Many are called, few are chosen, and few be there that find it.
It is a battle unto the very last breath, whether we endure unto the end and are saved, or whether our soul is required before that…He must find us in righteousness.
The movie industry is operated by luciferians and their goal is to ensnare, kill and destroy the souls watching, offering them hopelessness and despair with no way out.
Their goal is to keep souls from turning to the Only One who holds life and salvation…Jesus Christ.
Even with so-called Christian movies…offering twisted scriptures of easy believe-ism, that with only a sinner’s prayer that they are saved, because they believe only, that that is enough to get them in, or based on good works, or simple profession from their lips (James 2:19, Isaiah 64:6, Matthew 7:21-23,…)
Sorry, but those are contradictions of the written word.
What we are witnessing is the world’s hate for our Saviour, and be not amazed by those souls that desire darkness…everything has been prophesied and are fulfilling according to the order that the Lord has ordained from before the foundation of the world was ever spoken into existence.
I can only encourage a soul to choose ‘life’, to choose “Jesus” by their own free will.
