A crucial war is being waged over the Temple Mount and standing on the front line, allied with Israel and the nation of Israel, is Cry For Zion, a movement of Christian Zionists from all over the world who recently united in support of Jewish sovereignty over the Temple Mount.
On October 1, during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot (Tabernacles), the organization held a demonstration at UN headquarters in Jerusalem overlooking Mount Zion. According to Cry for Zion, this was the first time in 2,000 years since Christians have publicly demonstrated in support of Jewish rights to the holy site.

Amidst international pressure to maintain the status quo on the Temple Mount, Cry for Zion is literally crying out to change it. The status quo, maintained since Israel re-conquered the Temple Mount and unified Jerusalem in 1967, grants authority over the holiest site in Judaism to the Muslim Waqf. Jews and Christians are permitted to visit the site but they are entirely forbidden from praying or displaying any religious symbols. Jews may not eat or drink on the Temple Mount since this would require them to say a blessing, which the Waqf guard forbids.
These religious restrictions are strictly enforced by the Israeli Police in an unsuccessful attempt to reduce Arab violence on the site, despite an Israeli Magistrate Court ruling and the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which calls for freedom of religion.
Christians from countries all over the world came to show their support for Israel and the Jewish people. Lars Enarson, a Christian leader from Sweden and Cry For Zion co-founder, told those gathered, “Neither the UN in New York, nor the International Law centers of the Hague have any right to claim the role that belongs to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. ‘For out of Zion shall go the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem’ (Isaiah 2:3–4).”

The rally ended at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center, where Rabbi Yehudah Glick, founder of the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation, addressed the assembled. Glick is a leading advocate for religious freedom on the Temple Mount and recipient of the 2015 Moskowitz Prize for Zionism.
“It is a wonderful Godly breakthrough that more and more non-Jews are understanding the urgent need to get involved and to stand up on behalf of the Temple Mount,” Glick told Breaking Israel News following the event.

The Temple mount has no meaning whatsoever. In the days of the Old Covenant, the Temple had a temporary meaning; it was the place where God and believer meet each other. Therefore, It was required of the believer to bring his sacrifices to the high priest who after preparing it, sacrificed to the Lord. After finishing His mission here on earth and His death on the cross, the New covenant commenced. So, the Old Covenant (Old Testament), came to an end. As proof of this, God rented the veil of the Temple:
´And behold, the veil of the temple was rented in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent.´ (Matthew 27:51)
Now, from that time, the Temple, nor the Temple Mount, had any religious meaning whatsoever. And the apostle, Paul, says the following:
´God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men´s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things.´ (Acts 17:24~25)
Now, by these two examples alone, it is more than clear that the old Temple nor the Temple Mount has any biblical meaning; it´s all over, passsé. There is, however, one historic example in wich one of the Roman emperors, Julian the Renegade, did an attempt to rebuild the Temple. He never succeeded however because during the activities to rebuild the Temple, strange things occurred as, for example, burning flames from out of the bowels of the earth! The Christians in those days who were horrified by the wicked attempts of Julian and they saw these strange happenings as a divine sign of God, Who thwarted the plans of this emperor. So, the rebuilding of the Temple was never achieved. In concluding the following: many Christians (and I mean those good Christians who are aware of the true biblical facts described above) do believe that the “temple of God” wich is described in 2 Thessalonians 2:4, will be the rebuilt Jewish temple in the future; the Jewish antichrist will enter therein and he will violate it. This, however, is not true: something wich has no any biblical meaning whatsoever, can’t be violated. The true meaning, therefore, must be that the “temple of God” of wich Paul is speaking, is the Christian Church itself! As it is the Church itself wich is the only true (spiritual) Temple of God, only she can be violated. And this, the antichrist will do! And when will he do it? He will violate the true Church when ´only he who now letteth will let until he be taken out of the way´ (2 Thess. 2:7) And Who is the One Who has “let” to this day? Yes, the same One Who thwarted the plans of Julian the Renegade in the distant past: the Lord Jesus Christ. And how will He “be taken out of the way”? By the Christian Zionists themselves; Christ is, of course, the Living Word of God. He is also in a sense, the Bible wich is, as we all know, the Word of God. And by removing the true Word of God out of the Church and the implementation of many silly, foolish and insane Jewish fables, the Christian Zionists have removed the true God out of His own Church. Yes, even when they have still their own Bibles in the Church! The true “temple of God” however, must be purified from the Jewish lies and Jesus Himself must be brought back in His Church as the only sovereign Lord, as its Head. You are somewhat right. However the body is the temple of Christ Jesus, even as you stated. The Temple of God is in the Kingdom of heaven, Christ Jesus, the Lamb, the Image of the invisible God.
However keep in mind the jews do not serve the Father in heaven nor the Temple therein.
So they must build them yet the final temple of flesh doom to place their False Christ as per Daniel and John the Revelator of Christ Jesus.
